About the Author

Jeffrey Zavik, is a successful businessman in his 20th year as owner/founder of a medical laboratory specializing in food allergy testing.

In studying the work of Melvin Page, D.D.S. and Doctors Price and Pottenger, Mr. Zavik recognized how essential fresh whole foods was to the "primitive cultures" whose health was studied and reported by these researchers.

Disease for these "primitives" was virtually non-existent. Although this information is generally unknown, it motivated Zavik to locate in an environment conducive to growing his own food and raising a healthy family.
After testing several gardening methods, Zavik developed his own "lazy" method and his remarkable guide to successful veggie gardening. Jeffrey gives credit and thanks to the innumerable people and systems of gardening that have led him to his very own.

In addition to his medical/nutritional studies, Zavik has researched the works of Rudolph Steiner (Bio-dynamic gardening) and has visited a variety of successful organic gardens in the U.S. and Europe.

Jeffrey is happily married 16 years and has co-raised two exceptionally healthy teenage children who've never required the use of any medicine or medication. Through a combination of love and good healthy living, Zavik feels his family has been able to stay amazingly healthy.
